Jacob was such a sweet pea from the very beginning. He was/is such an easy baby and never had long fussy spells like most newborns. We are hoping all future siblings will be the same! He was even a pretty good sleeper from the beginning, although I was happy happy to see him sleep through the night at three months! Here he is "enjoying" his bath. He stopped crying for his baths around 6 weeks and became really alert for them.
He wasn't too sure about being very cold though. . .Mommy gets a little bit of a smile. . .
The serious face at 6 weeks. . .
A smile! I was so glad that I caught this, as "requested" smiles were few and far between.
He was starting to enjoy his play mat and would wave his arms to try to touch things.
We love this little one so much!
My good friend Stephanie Mondragon visited with her baby Julieta. Jacob had just woken up from a nap and was crying. . .
2 seconds later, Julieta was crying too!
Striking a sweet pose.
Our big boy at 2 months! He looks so much like RJ Roberts here!
Handsome one!
Here's a little about Jacob at this age:
--He is the LOUDEST eater! He grunts and talks the entire time he is eating! We joke that we hope he doesn't have to eat during church because the pastor will be able to hear him from the pulpit!
--6-8 weeks he started smiling; at 8 weeks, he smiles all the time
--He loves to be sung to and will attentively look at my face while I sing
--at 8 weeks, he gasps and giggles at his play mat
--at 4 weeks, he sleeps 3.5-4 hour stretches at night
--at 8 weeks, he sleeps 5-5.5 hour stretches at night
--at 8 weeks, he loves to go on walks & follows us with his eyes when we walk out of a room
--yells when he gets over stimulated
--at 8 weeks, he is starting to coo some
--6-8 weeks, he will stop crying almost immediately when we pick him up
--4 weeks--moved to his own room because he was such a noisy sleeper!
