Mmmmmmm. . . life is good!

So here are some more pics from this past spring.  My blogging deadline is fast approaching. . . I'm hoping to print off my book by Christmas!  So, I only have like 4 months to catch up on.  I can totally do it!  Here are some pics of me giving baby boy his evening "meal".  Jacob had a slow start to eating, then he took off!  He literally would eat like three jars of baby food AND drink 40 oz of formula a day!  It would blow our minds, but the Drs said that he was right on track with weight etc.  I guess he kept from getting overweight b/c he was growing tall so fast.  He has always been pretty insistent at meal times.  Even now (at almost 15 months) he lets us know that it is time to eat!

I so loved getting home in the afternoons from school and getting time with my sweet boy!  Brett and Jacob would be waiting on the front steps from me as I pulled in the driveway.  Jacob loved to watch the cars go by, so he didn't really realize that it was mommy until he could see my face.  He would get the sweetest little grin when he would realize it was me.  Brett's face was also super happy!  Help had arrived!  Brett has a great appreciation for my occupation now as he kept little man for a couple months there when I finished the school year.  Brett and Jacob are especially close :)
Our chunky monkey after a bath!
He loved to ride down the hall in a laundary basket.  Only daddy had a strong enough back to push him.

I'm glad I have these pictures to document his phase of sticking his tongue out.  He would just walk around with his tongue out like he was deep in thought!  So funny!

Tongue out, catching some baby Einstein with mommy after a long day.  Four pm was usually a fussy time for him, so we would save his 20 min video for that hour of the day.  I especially loved those sweet snuggles.  I was so thankful Brett was able to love on him as I finished out the year at Bunn.  God completely provided for us and allowed us to make some wonderful memories together as a family!
